Backplate Assembly

The backplate assembly is the core structural component of the self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA), consisting of the backplate, shoulder straps, and waist belt. Ergonomically designed, it evenly distributes the total weight of the apparatus across the user's lower back and hips, reducing shoulder strain and enhancing comfort and stability during extended wear.


Structure and Materials
- The backplate is constructed from high-strength engineering-grade composite plastic, ergonomically designed according to Asian body contours, offering excellent flexibility and structural integrity.
- The backplate can bend up to 90°, naturally adapting to the user's back shape during wear for dynamic.
- The lumbar pad is detachable, allowing flexible configuration based on operational requirements for enhanced lower back support.
- Shoulder straps and waist belt are available in Nomex or flame retardant cotton material, providing superior flame retardancy and tear resistance for reliable performance in harsh environments.
- Reflective strips on the shoulder straps improve visibility and safety in low-light conditions.

Air Circuit Layout
- The backplate integrates both medium-pressure and high-pressure air circuits with scientifically optimized routing, effectively preventing damage caused by collisions or snagging in confined spaces.
- The high-pressure hose connects to a luminescent pressure gauge and high-pressure alarm whistle, enabling easy pressure reading and timely low-pressure warnings in low-light environments.
- The medium-pressure hose connects to the demand valve via a quick-release coupling, ensuring stable air supply and convenient assembly/disassembly.

Compatibility and Versatility
- The pressure reducer is compatible with carbon fiber cylinders of various volumes, meeting diverse operational requirements.
- The overall structural design balances lightweight construction with high strength for easy portability and operation.
